In 1984, at the request of Mayor Andrew Young, Dwight was hired by the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc. as a National Sales Manager and remained there for over (7) years. Dwight was the number one salesman of the month on numerous occasions as a member of a team that won the 1996 Olympic Games, (2) NFL Super Bowls and many city wide conventions, trade shows and corporate meetings.
In 1991, Dwight started his own company – Events by Dwight McQueen, Inc. and today enjoys serving a host of clients across the nation. Dwight has produced concerts and outdoor festivals with Earth Wind & Fire, Jeffrey Osborne, Najee, The Temptations, Outcast, Jay Z, Jon B, Bobby Blue Bland, The Manhattans, Delphonics, KC & Jo Jo, Mary J. Blige, Be Be Winans, Tena Marie, El Debarge, Vicki Winans, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Tyrese, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Wicked Wilson Pickett, Bobby Brown and many more. Dwight McQueen is currently - Southeast Independent representative for Caesars Entertainment – Harrah’s, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Bally’s, RIO, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Imperial Palace –Las Vegas.
